Welcome to coachgethin.com. This website is owned and operated by coachgethin.com. By utilizing the content, tools and services of this website, you understand and agree to accept and adhere to the following terms and conditions outlined below. 

We reserve the right to change our terms and conditions at any point in time without giving notice. By using coachgethin.com or its services, you acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review our terms and conditions periodically to familiarize yourself with any modifications. By continuing to use coachgethin.com after these modifications will constitute acknowledgment and agreement of the modified terms and conditions.

In Person Coaching Agreement

This is applicable to all clients who engage in one to one personal training, currently situated at JD Gyms, Swansea.

1) The trainers commitment to you 

  1. Confidentiality.

All information you give me will be kept in confidence. Your personal details and medical information will not be made available to third parties unless permission to do so is granted by you. 

  1. Recommendations. 

Using my judgment and experience, I will suggest certain exercises and other lifestyle advice that I believe will help you achieve your personal goals, but if at any time you have specific requests please tell me so I can accommodate them. 

  1. Referral. 

I intend to work with you within the scope of my knowledge and competencies as a qualified fitness professional. Therefore when I believe it is in your best interests to see another health professional, I will refer you appropriately. 

  1. If the trainer cancels or runs late. 

Unforeseen circumstances may arise which require our sessions to be rescheduled. In this event the following policy will apply: 

  • If I am forced to cancel our session within 24 hours I will make up the session at no charge to you. 
  • If I am forced to cancel our session giving you more than 24 hours’ notice I will reschedule as soon as possible. 
  • If I run late in starting our session I will extend the session time accordingly or make it up at a future date, whichever is most convenient to you.

2) Your responsibilities to the trainer 

  1. Disclosure of information. 

Please disclose all health information as requested at our initial consultation and keep me updated and informed of any changes to your health status. This includes all medical conditions; physical and mental, injuries, allergies, and medication you are taking. If necessary, you may need to seek clearance from your doctor before participation in the exercise programme I recommend. 

  1. Accepting potential risks. 

Whilst for most people exercise is hugely positive with many health benefits, there remains some risk that I require you to be aware of and for you to sign the informed consent and disclaimer that I will provide. 

  1. If you (the client) cancel or run late.
  • If you cancel your session with less than 24 hours’ notice, or fail to show you will be charged the £30 from your training package.
  • If you cancel your session before 24 hours, there will be no charge, however, your trainer cannot guarantee you an additional session for that week.
  • If you (the client) are late to a session, I will do my best to get the most out of the remaining time left in the session as I am unable to run over time due to previously arranged client commitments.

Session options and term 

We offer the following “8 Week Transformations Packages”

  • One, 60 Minute Sessions per week for 8 Weeks at £240
  • Two, 60 Minute Sessions Per Week for 8 Weeks at £480
  • Three, 60 Minute Sessions Per Week for 8 Weeks at £720

The content of the session varies from client to client. However, the general structure is as followed:

45 Minutes of Physical Exercise.

15 Minutes of Nutrition and Lifestyle Education.

Payment option 

You may choose from the following payment options.

  • Card payment taken through an iZettle card reader.
  • Bank transfer via the following account information.
  • Account Number: 15607268

PLEASE NOTE: We do not offer refunds for our personal training services. If you wish to cancel a recurring payment, please do so directly through your bank. However, we do appreciate it when our clients inform us of the cancelation before it is conducted. 

Times of Service

All sessions are delivered between 6am and 4:30pm, Monday through to Friday – Excluding bank holidays and the trainers annual leave. We can never guarantee you a session away from these times. 

Being prepared for your session. 

To get the most out of your session I recommend the following: 

  • Have a small snack or light meal two or three hours before your session 
  • Be sure you are well hydrated and avoid alcohol prior to training 
  • If you are feeling unwell before your session please contact me.
  • Bring a small towel and water bottle to your session 
  • Wear appropriate clothing and footwear (ask me if you are unsure) 
  • Be ready at the appointed time 
  1. Communication and Commitment 

While I can give you the tools and encouragement to reach your goals, ultimately you will need to assume responsibility for making the required changes. I can best help you with this process if you keep me fully informed of any issues that arise for you and if you have any questions or concerns whatsoever please don’t hesitate to voice them with me.

  1. In the event that we can no longer participate in in-person coaching.

There are circumstances in which we can no longer participate in in-person coaching. These include but are not limited by:

  • The client or the trainer leaving the local area – either temporarily or permanently.
  • The trainer being unfit to coach in a gym environment but is still able to operate remotely. 
  • The training venue being closed by the authorities or by management (e.g. such as a pandemic).

In these circumstances, the remaining sessions will be conducted through our “Remote Coaching” practice. Please see the “Remote Coaching Agreement” to learn more about how it operates. 

Remote Coaching Agreement

 This is applicable to all clients who engage in any form of coaching that happens remotely through online means.

Session options and term 

All remote coaching packages include online support, a bi-monthly training plan and nutrition tracking.

Users must commit to six months on the programme prior to cancellation. If a user wishes to cancel before the initial six months, they will be required to pay a cancelation fee. The cancelation fee equates to 50% of the remaining six months that they haven’t payed for. Furthermore, users are required to offer coachgethin.com 30 days notice prior to their cancelation. If this notice isn’t given, the user may still be charged for the following month.

Remote coaching costs £750 which is billed monthly at £125 per month. After the initial six months, users may cancel their membership without a cancelation fee. However, it is up to the user to cancel their membership if they no longer wish to remain enrolled. Until a users has communicated their desire to cancel, their membership with coachgethin.com will continue to run.  All cancelations must be made through email via info@coachgethin.com.

  • Ensure that you have adequate wifi for every consultation call.
  • Take the call in a quiet environment away from distractions.

Privacy Policy Notes

coachgethin.com may collect names, date of birth, email addresses, billing and shipping address, phone numbers, bank details, medical information, body measurements and photo uploads. These details are collected for marketing purposes, taking payment or delivering our services. coachgethin.com does not provide your details to a third party without the users permission.

Below is a list of the applications coachgethin.com uses throughout this website.

Mailchimp – Through Mailchimp, we collect the users name, email address and phone number. This service is used to provide users with education, entertainment and promotional offers. This information is not passed on through a 3rd party. You may opt out of our email list at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” at the bottom of any of our emails. All information is password protected. This information is retained until you instruct us to get rid of them. 

 

Facebook – We utilise Facebook pixels to retarget our audience with Facebook ads. Users are welcome to opt out of seeing our adverts. To do so, simply undergo the following actions. 

 

On the Facebook app, go to Settings & Privacy > Settings > Ads > Ad Preferences > Advertisers and Businesses > Businesses who have uploaded and shared a list with your info. Then, click on a business icon then go to Privacy options and choose Permanent Opt Out. 

 

On the Facebook website, go to Settings > Ads > Advertisers and Businesses > Who have uploaded and shared a list with your info > View details > Privacy options > Permanent Opt Out.

 

Your information is retained by Facebook, not by coachgethin.com. 

 

Jot Form & Elementor – Jot Form and Elementor are online survey providers where we may collect details such as your name, email, phone number, home address, medical history, health and fitness history and your health and fitness goals. This information helps us to deliver the service and to get in touch with you about our promotions or any urgent matter that needs attending. We do not pass these details onto a third party. This information is retained until you instruct us to get rid of them.
